📒Governance
The MPEPE Protocol was born as a project driven by the community, with the aim of enabling users to engage in governance. Central to the MPEPE Protocol is the principle of decentralization, which necessitates a fair and transparent governance process. This document outlines how governance proposals are created and progressed within the MPEPE Protocol. It's a living document that can be revised based on suggestions from the Miner PEPE Protocol community through the same governance process.
MPEPE governance is in the hands of its community, who participate in forum discussions and vote on proposals using the MPEPE Snapshot platform. Currently, proposals put forward by the CORE carry binding authority on the Snapshot voting system if they garner enough votes to meet a quorum.
Voting determines decisions on significant structural changes, operational adjustments, and alterations to MPEPE . Our goal is to establish a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) with effective, trustless governance. Achieving this requires careful consideration and time. We encourage everyone to join the discussion on how the future DAO should function and to grasp the current governance model by engaging in our forums and the #governance channel.
Proposals & Voting:
We invite all community members to submit proposals on our forums. To ensure clarity for potential voters, please adhere to the provided template when creating a thread. If you wish to include a poll in your thread, you can reach out to a member of the core team or a community team representative. If your proposal gains sufficient support, the core team may advance it for voting on our Snapshot platform. Here, the community, in collaboration with MPEPE , will vote to determine the outcome of the proposal.
